Domestic Abuse
This is an area that I have come to work in quite extensively which was originally based on personal experience and then
from the understanding that I have developed into this sickening part of the world that we live in. You can read about my

When I talk about Domestic Abuse I tend to look past the violence and go to the level of the people involved. Domestic
Abuse has become known from the violence that is often associated with it and I believe that this is based on a huge
misunderstanding of what Domestic Abuse is all about.

There does not have to be any physical violence for there to be Domestic Abuse. In fact I go so far as to say that the
violence, if it is present, is one of the minor parts of the Domestic Abuse. The real abuse comes in the form of mental and
emotional abuse. That is where the real damage is done, and that is why the victims stay in such an environment.

The complexities of this subject are huge, and it is through a lack of understanding that most people form judgements of
situations. As with all of my work, I  focus on providing understanding and guidance in this area.

One of my books is called 'You Don't Need Bruises to be Abused' and it focuses on the mental and emotional damage that is

I have also written a booklet on this subject called 'Why Don't they Just Leave?'. It is aimed at providing an understanding
for not only those in these kinds of relationships, but also those that are on the outside and don't understand what is really

This is something that is not refined to any section or level of society. It is widely spread throughout all of society and it is
only by understanding it that we will ever be able to break down the misunderstandings that have come to replace the truth
in this area.
